About the Role

As a Social Media Intern, you will:

- Help develop and execute a multi-channel social media strategy to build property visibility and brand awareness
- Support social content creative development process with creating dynamic branded content
- Assist with development, management, and execution of brand campaigns including but not limited to paid and organic social promotions and/or giveaways
- Develop, maintain, and execute monthly content calendar and ensuring successful publication of all content in a timely manner
- Draft 5-10 social media posts per week on Instagram and Facebook
- Monitor and respond to incoming communication and direct messages to social media channels
- Assists with execution of various consumer marketing tactics including but not limited to email development, direct mail, and digital campaigns
- Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on all key engagement and content metrics, market research, category trends and consumer insights to identify business insights that inform strategies to grow business and unlock new opportunities

This a fully remote, 5-10 hours per week UNPAID INTERNSHIP
Internships last 3 months and may be renewed at the end of the term
For high school students, we provide community service hours upon your school's approval
For college students, we provide college credit upon your school's approval
For aspiring entrepreneurs, we provide professional development (business consulting/mentorship)

Requirements

  • Availability to work for 12 consecutive weeks (3 months) at a time

  • Legally authorized to work in the US and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Social Media experience or familiarity highly preferred but training can be provided

  • Available to work effectively with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environments

  • Ability to take initiative and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Strong writing, logical, and creative problem solving skills

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Drive)

  • An interest in entrepreneurship and/or social media is a plus

  • Graphic design and/or video editing experience or interest is a plus
